Team Battles Mode Discontinued

Most of the people who do/did play Team Battles have tried and don't want/like to use the other modes. It doesn't/didn't matter there were no progression or goals, we play(ed) them for both fun and 'active' team training against enemies doing exactly the same ('inhouse' team training mode just isn't the same).   If there are in fact "other things that you will see coming soon", great, I wait with bated breath and looking forward to getting to grips with them!! Teambattles has a lot of unique qualities so I am curious if and what it will be replaced by since I have no interest at all in strongholds, advances or clanwars.
