eekeeboo:   I'm so confused.... Did you read the article before posting this?

I am no pro but surely there's software that can detect 'abnormal' playing. Any attempt to start a battle with nothing but a standard vehicle thats within the WOT parameters should be disallowed from entering the battle every time.. I read that when a tank is instantly targeting numerous tanks and switching from one to another through building rocks etc it's most probably an aimbot. Is this in fact true? How do we detect cheaters to help you check? What does it actually look like? How do we report what we consider unfair play? So much of it goes on I think, and yes I am guilty of kicking off in chat at them and I shouldn't but sometimes its frustrating when I try to play fair and some clearly have an unfair advantage. Is it in fact true that the Warpack 'pay for cheat' is being ignored? Some people have written that and I had to google it to see what it was. How is this fair? It gives other players a huge advantage.    Anyway stop the cheaters please :great:

eekeeboo:   It's always a good idea to try to give people a chance to improve, especially if a player has paid a lot into the game and it was due to an unscrupulous person putting dodgy mods on a PC or installer outside of the mod site. The first warning should hopefully at the very least be good at raising awareness. 14:48 Added after 1 minute

People report each others for no reason or just for fun, because they have bad battles or just because some other players did more damage / kill then them. A couple of days ago I got a message after a random battle, where my own team mate reported me because I did more damage then them, it was very disgusting and awkward moment. I'd also like to keep World of Tanks as clean as possible, but when people report each other for no reason (just anger), the question is there "How can WarGaming decide if a player used mods, or simply had a good day / battle ?".

eekeeboo:   Reporting is not the same function as this feature. You're confusing the in-game report function and gameplay punishment system with the fair play policy to do with mods and illegal programs (cheats). 14:49 Added after 2 minutes

This could save many peoples account, just imagine how many time and money people spend on an account, especially old players. If they get a warn to that they have not allowed mods, they have chance to remove it and play without risking to loose a lot money and time !

eekeeboo:   Generally you then highlight to people that their cheat is being detected and they can work on fixing it while at the same time those who actively want to cheat, will do so regardless.
