Shooting off tracks on a real tank?

eekeeboo: Generally speaking this isn't something you would actually attempt to do. Yes it may happen but of course, real-world physics work differently and tracks are themselves quite a nice bit of armour, that's why they were put on sides of turrets.    So depending what you hit with at what range using what round would affect the result. People haven't replied because of how ambiguous the question was without a clear set of an instance.
