I know it's gambling, and as such you're not guaranteed good loot or anything – but the M4 Imp is a slap in the face that is WORSE than just getting an empty garage slot, because an empty garage slot doesn't cause you to waste credits on upgrades that you then have to resell when you discover that you simply can't make such a garbo tank even remotely playable.

I can make most Tier 5 mediums work fine, so I'm not being hyperbolic when I say this tank is so bad that I think taking it onto the field is legitimately throwing the match and would be a justification for banning players who do so.

Even with preferential matchmaking - which would at least prevent facing Tier 7s that you can't even penetrate with gold rounds - I don't think the tank is good enough to contribute meaningfully against Tier 6s.  Even in Tier5 only games, it's at a huge disadvantage.   The extra side armour isn't enough to bounce reliably while side-scraping (worse than a Tier 4 Matilda numerically and in terms of layout); the extra mobility is rendered worthless by the tank's large dimensions which make it easy to hit even on the move; and terrible concealment values that are worse than vanilla M4 make it exceptionally bad for scouting. It's outclassed by Tier 4s like the Matilda (better profile, better gun, better armour) and even the Lee (same gun, but with better accuracy and reload).

I expected to feel disappointed by the boxes:
Gambling's for mugs;
I knew WG's current stance on monetisation has been increasingly manipulative, coercive, and detrimental to the game;
and I've been burned by WGing's cynical monetisation practices in WOWP, as well as some disappointing premium tanks (Fury and Caernarvon AX are both downright miserable to play) before.

I did not expect to feel so unvalued and poorly treated as a customer.
