LK_4D4, on 08 January 2019 - 02:31 PM, said: that is not accurate, 3 years ago nobody had a reason to say
that. The real screw ups started at 2017 and since than wg is doing
great job of killing this game. Now people do have a reason to say
that and if WG are going to continue with screw ups it
can come faster than anybody can imagine eekeeboo: People have been saying it ever since WT Tanks, AW etc...
people have been saying WoT is dying for as long as I can
remember. No game lives forever, WoT will eventually
come to an end like any other game ever. That's obvious and
realistic. I've seen the video, I also know how to
look at data and analyze and how game populations are affected and
took the time to research player population change mechanics. On
the limited information available to the person in the video that's
a perfectly acceptable conclusion to arrive at, but it is not based
on the whole and full picture and data. So yes, they
are facts, are they the whole facts in the full picture? No, so it
pays to look at the whole picture and realise there's more to it
than what you see. 10:20 Added after 6 minutes

what he was promised he probably would throw his pc out
the window! And still there was a chance you would not
have gotten any tier 8 premium whatsoever... We are actually
talking about normal spending on the game (and not excessive
spending). I spend €60 which is already quite a lot for
spending on a video game for Christmas imo. And I will probably not
even finish one collection, because I'm getting the wrong level 5
decorations when I craft.eekeeboo: I'm 99.99% certain at no point in purchasing boxes are you
promised a full collection from those boxes. The boxes will provide
you with in-game goods equal to the base value/monetary value you
spend, supplemented by other prizes (as I'm sure you're aware). The
tanks are extras.

things, that should be improved/considered for the next year: - the
time/effort to reach atmosphere level X was perfect this time - but
filling the current collections requires way too many shards - I
did not get every single box every week, but even if I double my
amount I would still be far away - I really liked that you could
acquire missing parts of the 2018's collection - the shard price
was also fair and well balanced, so maybe that's how the current
collection should have been handled as well - it is nice that you
do not have to recruit the female crew members immediately - I
would like to have more freedom of choice, when I have to finish
the missions and not every 24h - although I realize you want to
encourage players to play every single day: So I would like to
suggest to allow the completion of missions in other gamemodes
except randoms/grand battles as well - up to 50% bonus credits over
such a long period inflates the economy. The problem here is the
big difference between premium and non-premium players, because
this bonus works multiplicative with the premium account - up to
50% bonus on free xp and crew xp on the other hand felt a bit
underwhelming - the whole christmas interface did not work well
with arbitrary interface scaling settings - I appreciate the
opportunity to finally be able to buy some of the better premium
tanks for gold during the advent calendar - big loot boxes with p2w
tanks... you know exactly which tanks are popular/op and encourage
your customers to gamble for these tanks - that's a big no-go for
meeekeeboo: Thank-you for the constructive feedback, rest assured I have
passed on the concerns on this matter in the community
feedback.
Kesky, on 08 January 2019 - 04:40 PM, said: What I loved: - The atmosphere of the event, even though it did not
give the same "new, shiny and interesting" feeling - Being able to
finish the previous collection (you must really repeat this the
next time too) - Unique crew (the uniqueness doesn't really bother
me that much, but I appreciate the effort despite the puns) - No
real problem reaching lvl X - finishing a collection is a different
story What I disliked: - Getting the same stuff at a
relatively early stage (roughly 1/4 of lvl V decorations) maybe a
little bit too often, so completing the new collections needs some
effort, more patience and infinite amounts of money or luck for
those who were ready to burn their money for large boxes. - The
pages of the calendar: the arrow pointing to the next page had more
or less the same goldish colour as the page, it took me a "little"
to notice. I guess some micropacth turned it blue - or fixed it the
way it might had been intended to work from the beginning - some
problems with the GUI - scaling and positioning, few shop menus
didn't work on the first few days of 2019 - I personally didn't buy
large boxes (how shocking eekeeboo: Great feedback again, thank-you!
Forzo, on 08 January 2019 - 05:02 PM, said: Will there be any benefit of having a festive atmosphere of 10 when
the event ends or is it just lost shards? Would hate for there to
be some surprise for keeping level 10 if I've broken all the
decorations...eekeeboo: Something I'm going to suggest is if you want the bonuses,
keep the level 5's on your festive layout until the last day, then
make sure you take them all off, and turn them into shards. I know
with a level 10 decoration overall I have a lot of shards waiting
for me to use!
