everyone's benefit, like @gunslingerXXX pointed out:
This^^^. Kiddy moans? Modern whimps? Are you
for real, bro? You say you were in arty for real for 22 years - how
many moving tanks did you snipe with it, oh courageous one? Yeah,
bottom line is it's only a game, and games are meant above all to
be fun, which is exactly what broken mechanics like arty tend to
deny. As for God View being done in reality by spotters on the
ground using lasers, this really made me LOL - there simply weren't
any target designating lasers in WW2, ya bonehead, now were
there eekeeboo: The summary at the end isn't quite right, it's more complex
than that. Your opinion is skewed by the fact you personally didn't
want the mechanic in there. As is the case here. 09:39 Added

disproportionately. Snipers, noobtubes, spies,
whatever. If they remove arty then another class will become
most disliked. It's an unwritten law of video games.eekeeboo: Very much this, there will always be something, I believe
personally, you remove arty, TD's will be the hated "invisible bush
kemp snipers" as they once were.

the community is united in the dislike of 1 class). So to me this
is just unfounded and false. When I played WoW, this was not
the case. When I played SCeekeeboo: The difference with SC is you get specific counter
strategies/games, but zerg was considered to be the "cheapest"
because of early zerg rushing. Dota/LoL you get those hyper
carries and you have meta changes whereby the main threat alters
from season to season, but that's why ranked has banned
champs. I don't know diablo unfortunately, but I'm sure
there was a spell or tactic that was considered "cheesing"
The law when involved in PvP does exist in that you will always
have something UP and something OP. It's the nature of balancing
there will always be something.

I play multi games at least for 15 years. I must be extremely
lucky.eekeeboo: I don't know the games you play, but many PvP games do have
this, from FPS games to even strategy games with low skill floor
and high skill ceiling mechanics.
