2)Patch will always receive negative reaction at start even if it will be an update about free gold for all. So the only sure way, IMO, is to gather the constructive feedback, when the first avalanche will pass and people will be able to think calmly.
3)Unfortunately, I'm not the game designer and I can't post here any initial plans. But at the moment E-50 has the best daily statistics comparing with other Tier 9 mediums. Probably, because all players and mostly skilled ones tries it out. Probably, this is a lucky coincidence. That is why I will be able to answer you in a week, as it was stated in the first point.
