You have missed quite a few things.
I will try to point out some of the most important changes:
Physics was introduced bringing massive changes to the gameplay and overall approach to the maps.
Platoon was enabled for non-premium users.
A lot of new vehicles added.
7 versus 7 game mode introduced bringing a bridge between Tank Companies and Platoon as well as new efficiency rating based matchmaking
