English-speaking forum, but didnt get any reply, in short I want to
know how much was the real life armor on the Conqueror tank:
Wikipedia gives the armor values of the Conq as 8 inches (178mm)
armor thickness. But then the same source says "the armor was very
thick for it's time, 178mm on the horizontal plane", which is what
WoT gave in the in-game model. In other games I've seen the frontal
hull armor of the Conq as 300mm effective armor, which would be
credible if the armor thickness was 178mm and not 130mm. Can
anybody give me another (more reliable) source? edit: 178mm
on the horizontal plane is actually LESS than WoT's model since
130*2=260mm. Thanks in advance!
TheKroo: Upper front plate is 130mm Lower front plate is 76mm
At least according to the data I have :)
