M-84 MBT is a T-72 bloodhound, made in Slavonski Brod, Croatia, under Yugoslavian regime, by Djuro Djakovich SV company. After the Yugoslavian war in 90s, and cancelation of a joint project named M-91 VIHOR (whirlwind) as the M-84`s modernisation, Serbian engineers upgraded thier M-84 AS (which is similar to russian T-90) and the Djakovich matrix company in Croatia made two prototypes of the M-95 DEGMAN. Considered as the best tank ever made in the region, the M-95 Degman often caused intense controversies about standing side by side, or even override the Abrams, Challenger or Merkava as its competition. It had a revolutionary OMEGA 2 firing control, ERA armor,  low profile dimensions and good agility, 27 HP/t, 3 people crew, and a 125 mm smoothbore gun, with a 9-round automatic loader system.
However, due to neo-capitalism import lobby, laws and policies, economy in those countries is pushed to the bottom by stifling their industry. The export regulation of a military technology in Croatia says that no product can be exported if its not officially introduced as a main battle tank into the local military forces. So, even the Kuwait army ordered new generation M-95 as the biggest buyer since M-84 back in 90s, the new generation was never mass produced. Both prototypes are stationed in Slunj military trainig course in Croatia, to serve peace forces.
Here are some vids, links and stats of the tank:

TheKroo: Hello Mad_MakS,
M-95 Degman is for sure an interesting concept, especially considering how much it differs from the good old T-72.
Politics aside, one of the main reasons why the mass production has been postponed is the fact that with Croatia's NATO acceptance, all future produced tanks should comply to certain standards. In this case issue at hands was the tank's 125mm gun as it was desired for it to be equipped with a 120mm gun.
A new 120mm compact gun developed by RUAG Defence of Switzerland has been chosen to replace the old 125mm. Additionally a few extra systems were added, including defensive and ECM systems as well as LAHAT anti tank missiles.
Now the problem was following, with the addition of new 120mm Swiss gun, the tank was forced to switch to different loading mechanism, the one requiring more space, which requires the turret to be modified or better said redesigned.
A time consuming task to say at least.
