Tanitha: Whats OP? Well for starters, if you are going to spend ages working
your way up the tree, IMO you should be concerned about which end
game tanks are OP, not which middle tanks are op which you will
grow out of soon. So looking at end game.
Arty..
The S51's are way OP compared to the german arty. BUT Russian arty go up to tier 6 and germans only go up to tier 5..
BUT the russians are getting 2 more tiers of arty's and the germans are getting 3 more tiers. So you cant really compare a T6 to a T5. The german T5 hummel is very nice compared to the Russian T5's. So all in all, there is no real balance issues here.
Mediums.
Now everyone says T44's are op, but.. try one and see for yourself. : )
I have a T44 rigged out, 1.2 mil worth of upgrades, 100% crew's, 3k one use equipment etc.
And 1v's1 the panther often out does the T44.
The T44's guns are crappy. But they have great speed, and maneuverability. So why they seem overpowered IMO is.
When a T44's facing a weaker tank, it can spin around it and kill it a lot easier than a panther can kill it. When facing a slow ass heavy like a tiger or tiger 2, again the T44's speed will handle the tiger's easier than the panther will. So the T44's kill most things a bit better than the panther does. But in a 1v's1 against a panther, the panther has a bit of speed (not as much) and a much bigger and better gun. So it hurts like hell. So all in all, they are pretty balanced imo.
T7+ heavies.
The IS's are superior. Even if their armour stats are low, they bounce most of the hits they get. So they do more damage, and bounce more hits, and have more speed.
Lights,
The German leopard and luch are both superior.
