I just got told by a friend that the STRV is worth having so I am trying to get it via this tank rewards. But before we get to that I ask - What is the true point of tank rewards ? The way it is structured - is not to generously give free stuff to players, that has been done in many ways. No there is a sort of a contract - we agree the challenge and play each day , WG gets to keep players playing which provide a player base for others to play against and keep the game alive. We are "encouraged" to play every day some battles and in return we get stuff. Except that arrangement has been taken over by WG corporates who have I guess said - if we are going to have rewards - push it towards Tier X so we can extract credits from the player base. Then up the TR requirements - cook the players like frogs in a pan. The part of this arrangement that WG does not seem to get - is the more coercion there is to play higher tiers the less the players want to do it, the more it becomes necessary as more players give up. As has been said before - we used to buy premium accounts for this game because we loved it - not because we felt forced to. I played a tier 9 arty today - I would rather play a lower tier - but I do not have the inclination to play endlessly so Tier 9 and platoon. But what happens ? A loss, top by kills on my team, 5th by damage and some assisted. Placed - 11th on my team ! Thats when I gave up for the day, Not only are we forced to either play too long , or play high tiers to lose credits in rerturn for TR, but despite that the "finish in the top 10 appears totally arbitrary! Overall is this making me play more ? No its less now I do my stint and switch off as soom as possible !

Boring and pointless is having a Challenge set at lower tiers that can be completed in the span of a few pretty easy and quick games, that are going to make the entire endeavor very uninteresting and forgettable.If you're able to complete an event with too little time and too little effort, it's likely a bad event.For the record, the bulk of my
games so far happened at lower tiers, where some of my favorite
tanks reside. I love lower tiers and when I take those vehicles, I
play as many games as fast as I would if they were chips I was
eating from a bag. That's why I think that the amount of games that
I would find challenging to complete for an event like this should
be pretty high. If I spend time playing at lower tier, chances are
very, very high I'm already having a ton of games.Aside from that,
not every player likes lower tiers. For those who are still
interested in TR and would like to complete it with higher tier
tanks, they also have their share of missions. It's not some weird
corporate scheme, it's just fairer for all. It is normal, for how
the game is conceived, that higher tier games are more difficult
and demanding, but also more rewarding.I am sorry you had a bad
game at higher tiers, but it looks more like bad luck to me rather
than a problem with TR or the game in general. I am sure that you'd
do better if you paused, relaxed, and tried again if you want to -
otherwise, if this is not your cup of tea, we really are not
forcing you to do anything.
