Only for that reason they should be selectable yes.
Typical Wargaming... one guy is lucky enough to have not suffered the horrendous experience that is New Random Game Modes and immediately WG want to make sure he doesn't get away with it.
On a more serious note ... WG stop being so stubbornly arrogant and do some proper work.
