As far as I know turrets have smaller armor (mostly), then how come
that my shot form Tiger II bounces (4 from 4) of VK 3601s turret ?
Sometimes it is 200 mm penetration vs 40 mm armor - bounce.Overlord: Depends on the vehicle actually. Turrets are usually nicely sloped
and have gun mantlet at the front, which is normally the thickest
part of the armour. Eg for VK3601 the total effective thickness of
front turret is 200+mm.
