It still takes good aiming to get hits on people, but where other guns get a moderate ~15% better penetration these guns get more than 30% increase in pentration switching from AP to Gold and it really takes a lot away from players positioning them well to utilize an armor advantage wether it's thickness or sloping,,,
If a Maus has 200mm front armor sloaped and angled (rough estimate counting as 400mm all depending) there is a lot of difference trying to penetrate it with a S-70 having 303 average gold shell pentration (227-378) and a M62 having 400 average gold shell penetration (300-500). Especially since the normal AP on the gun only does 268 average penetration (201-335).

Has it been noticed that the speed of french tanks have resulted in most clan war mediums being replaced by BatChats and 50B when the clans have them available? Do you evaluate the possibilities of balancing the speed on the french or the other mediums to get more versatility like you currently achieved with the top tier heavies?
I agree in a combat situation the BatChats etc are not overpowered, however their speed has made mediums role as scouts and strategic spearheads in clan wars nearly extinct when FCs have french tanks available...
