WG has a habit of springing long-delayed changes on us without any warning.
EG, CWs were introduced after great delay with 2 days warning, giving clans very little time to make final preparations; same goes for tank locking; landing changes etc etc
Please at least give us like 2 weeks warning before merger takes place. ATM there is a long standing wars taking place and suddenly getting CW map wipe could be very annoying.

Overlord: Most likely full reset / wipe will be needed to merge the map
successfully, however apart from technical issues that have to be
solved we also need to implement all the required functionality for
CW since the merge would mean the end of beta stage and no further
wipes. Plus, there is a fear that RU clans, having advantage in
experience and numbers right now will dominate the merged CW if
there are no additional restrictions. So the merge has been pushed
to long-term plans.
