I'm curious about the removal of the French tanks.
Now as A disclaimer: I already have both, and have had both for some considerable time. So the answer is no skin off my nose.
1) However the reason given seems odd, and silly. Or was there some issue with them?
Were they too prolific (Like the reason the type got its ticket punched). Although I've never seen more than three 735(f)'s, or two Panzer B2's in a game. All were when platooned.
Were they too good? Hence the weighted matchmaker in the case of the 735? Although that could equally apply to the other T2 French tanks.
Was there some exploit from them? I've not seen one yet though, nor can I work out how to exploit them.
2) Will the S35 get pulled later on?
These tanks are different models to the French ones. The Germans made changes. A digital company like yourself is not under the constraints of stock duplication that a normal company suffers. So you're removing them to stop people paying you real money for a low tier tank.
All these reasons make the removal all the more perplexing. Hence why I'm trying to get some clarification on your thinking.
I can sing chapter and verse about these Very important tanks in the German army.
Discussing it with my friend (who also has both)Might it be that both are a bit on the powerful side? Us players, we're mostly grown up so we can accept being told something is being pulled for that reason. If the Overpower thing is an issue, maybe altering the tanks to make them less overpowered?
OR is it an unwritten law that Premium tanks will never be altered?
This raises the question about other premium tanks listed in the Tech tree's that will be available in their parent list. Such as the US Captured Type 97 Chi-Ha, The Churchill, the Matilda and the Valentine.
Thanks. As I said as user it makes no difference to us. It just seem weird logic, to stop people paying you real money. and a rather odd approach for a Company to take (especially as we want you to keep making money to keep the servers up!).

Overlord: You cant earn all money of the world, can you?
The reasons and the approach may seem weird. Both were slightly overperfoming that's true, especially Hotchkiss. It could spoil the fun in low tier battles, especially if used against newcomers (we have many of them at low tiers). Also true that neither of the two was even equally popular to T59 to spam the battles. And our "adjusting" possibilities are quite limited when it comes to premium, any move will be considered controversial at least.
With the introduction of initial French tree we dont need these two anymore, so even if the harm they do or can do is quite slow, we can easily get rid of them and no one loses anything in this case.
Other captured / lend lease premiums can be subject to the same destiny. Especially after the arrival of British tanks.
