While we're at the subject, does the upgraded chassis improve handling in any way? Wiki says it doesn't but I saw reports from players stating it does. And since the wiki is unofficial...
And if not, is a rework planned? Improved handling would make mounting enhanced suspension a viable option for many tanks. As I understand, it's not a very popular piece of equipment right now.
