Battleships were an iconic part of naval warfare throughout the war, and only started to become obsolete in the 1950's
Had the war continued, and the Germans and Japanese had enough resources to last them, then we would have seen much much much larger ships than anything.
H44 (largest battleship designed by the Germans) was 350m long, Bismark only 240m
Designed with 20" guns, compared to the Bismark's 16"
Trust me when i say we will probably only see the Bismark no higher than tier 7
