EU Questions & Answers

Then he was Community Manager for the EU server for a short while, untill he transferred to the Development department, where he currently is nerfing all the tanks I do good in, and buffing all the tanks he thinks I should play...

The main reason he is doing the EU Q&A thread is because he started it way back in late beta, and because much of the questions asked here are development related (new tanks, stats etc, etc).
And finally because (and this is my personal guess, based on the person I've gotten to know a bit about the last 1½ years) he is a nice and social person, who enjoys interacting with the community.
We all know Overlord's blog - Something he did in his SPARE time and not part of his work assigned duties, because he enjoyed a more informal method of communicating with us all.
So even though we consider Overlord the "face of WG", remember that he does communicate with us all, above and beyond the call of duty. And that we should be gratefull for. Don't shoot the messenger, treat him with respect, and he'll keep bringing us tidbits and info about the future in WoT gamewise

Just my 0.02 €'s worth.

Overlord: True that, JD. I used to perform the duties of community manager
being Lead EU CM. After a while I have moved to Game Design dept
and currently work on regular tasks (see above), still I keep
forums communication as a sort for hobby and do that in my free
time mostly.
I'm grateful for the positive characteristic given by ArmsAndLegsGuy above and personally thank him for being one of the best mods for rather long time (and definitely the funniest and wittiest one), dedicating his free time to improve the community.
