1- why the turret is not increasing the thickness of shielding tier French 10 (max 100mm)? because the problem is too easy for everyone (all tier) draws on the French turret .

French steel (1960) 1mm = German steel 1.3 to 5 mm (1942)
Hull Armor 170/30/30(mm) = 221 to 850 / 39 to 150 / 39 to 150(mm)
Turret Armor 100/50/30(mm) = 130 to 500 / 65 to 250 / 39 to 150(mm)
Historically wise, French steel and fabrication methods were of a superior quality, comparable to 1942 Germany's quality, before they ran low on rare elements to make high quality steel. A lower amount of French steel was better than piss-poor quality Soviet steel, or late war German steel.
Overlord: I seriously doubt the armour quality gap was that huge. And we
don't want to make the current system even more complicated by
adding some extra hidden parameters.
