Overlord: Hello Fellow Tankers!
The past year has been rather good for World of Tanks and rich in terms of events and new content.
First off, and the most important thing of course, after a continuous beta testing stage we released the game for Europe and North America, launching two separate servers there. Shortly after that clan wars beta was started bringing more diversity to the game. EU server achieved its peak online of more than 52.000 players at once.
We have added lots of new content: 9 new maps, a number of new tanks, including E-series and P-tanks, US tank destroyers line, top tier arty, tier 5 light tanks, tier 8 premiums. There were many changes and new features that affected the mechanics of the game, such as improved armour system, tiered companies, camouflage, and on top of all – animated birds on some maps!
For sure there are things to rage about, and perhaps there always be something to be disappointed with, however I’m sure we are heading the right direction and many of your concerns will be addressed not before long.
