View PostNirvana, on 03 November 2011 - 03:31 AM, said: Been playing several battles on lower tiers recently, and I noticed a considerable increase in the time it takes to get a match set up, compared to higher tier matches (don't get me wrong, waiting to get in a match is not a problem, just seems rather odd). What could the possible reasons for this? A problem within the match making itself? (seems unlikely to me). A lack of new players populating the lower tiers? Or simply the lack of appeal on these tiers? If any of the latter, has WG any plans to change this situation? (or does even intend to?).
Edit: there is also the possibility that it is a mere impression, due to bad zones, or so on. Do you have some statistics about that?

Overlord: Smart match-making implemented some time ago led to certain increase of waiting time. Can't say it is significant, but it exists.
