With 8 degrees normalisation:
100mm at 60 degrees from vertical = 162mm effective protection
120mm at 60 degrees from vertical = 195mm effective protection
I get frequent bounces with the 203mm penetration 88mm L/71 against the Type 59's front hull, even though the shots are at less than 100 meters range and without significant side angling.
162mm is the minimum penetration for the 88mm L/71 at 100 meters; it simply shouldn't be bouncing off the front hull like that.
Either the Type 59 has 120mm front hull armor like the T-54, or there is something wrong with the penetration or normalisation for the 88mm L/71.
Overlord: Type 59 has got 100mm front.
Actually 100mm at 60 degrees from vertical = 200mm effective protection
Actually 100mm at 60 degrees from vertical = 200mm effective protection
