I've heard that one proposed feature for clan wars is the introduction of 'command tanks', which would be limited to one per battle, for the clan leader only, and would be able to call in an airstrike once per game.
The current tech-trees, both in game and plannedm do not show anything outside the normal lines. So I have some questions about these;
-Are they still going to be introduced? Or has WG given up on the idea
-If they are planned,
-Is there a rough ETA for them? I can appreciate that they may not be top priority, but maybe an estimate along the lines of Q3 2011/
-Will they be introduced piecemeal, or all together?
-Will they be purchasable for gold or credits? Will there be a tech-tree system where you grind to better command tanks?
-Will different factions have command tanks with different capabilities?
-Roughly when will offical info be released on these vehicles?

Overlord: Commaners tanks are still in plans only and won't be introduced
this year. So don't want to give any details so as not to be proven
wrong afterwards.

Every hit with penetration from front results in permanent engine failure in Lowe. Most of time on every battle you are moving slower than KV-5 on reverse. Not even regular german tanks got engine failure so often. Probably transmission 'model' is to big or to close to edge of tank dunno how it looks from dev point of view.
Anyway you did it in purpose or there is a chance to make that engine failures less often? Should tier 6 tank be able to damage engine of super heavy '100 tons' tank in one shoot from front?
Overlord: Can't say it is true. I do play Lowe on US server and haven't found
any issues so far. The hitbox seems to be ok.

Are WG worried about clan wars, we see the Russian map is basically cut up by 5 large clans, all napped with each other with no fighting and just farming the huge amounts of gold that produces, keeping all taht gold among a very small amount of players relatively, does it worry you that the EU/US server will go the same way?
Are you thinking about ways of changing this, or do you see the current mechanic and the current end result as an acceptable state of play? Does this fit your economical and marketing plan for clan wars, is it wholly intentional, or do you feel a more diverse map, a larger spread of the gold riches that come with province ownership across the clanbase should be encouraged by the mechanics that govern CW?
From a clan that is only playing this game to be involved in Clan Wars, this answer as to your idea of how CW will be forced to progress by the devs is so so important to us. Don't need plans, just need stance on current mechanics and server situations

Overlord: 1. We are worried but no much. Currently not planning to introduce
any artificial restrictions that would affect big clans/alliances
directly.
2. I believe that the merger of the Global Map will bring the neccessary level of diversity. In addition to it the introduction of new provinces should help to some extent allowing smaller/less hardcore clans to clain some territory. However solid and effectively run clans will always succeed in any circumstances.

Overlord: Can't say when exactly, but we are planning to add them since more
African provinces are going to be added to the Global Map soon.


Sorry if there was already this question (or similar one), but I haven't seen any...

Why, what drives this chain of thought? This simply is not how the playing population see it, what exactly are we missing?
Does it not worry you that long term should Clan Wars turn out to be a very small group of clans sucking up 95% of the gold, that your player base that really mostly will only play long term because of clanwars will just give up?
Overlord: From our end we limit clans to 100 members max. Each one is treated
as independent entity.
New territories will give weaker clans an opportunity to capture some provinces.

On a slightly related note, since clanwars is really only for the most hardcore players and alliances when are we going to get new gameplay modes? Im talking about game modes for regular and casual players, are they under development at all or still in the planning stages or not at all?
Overlord: Going to introduce alternations of the current random battles
relatively soon. Game mode with one base per map will come first.

Is there any chance for a replay option?
After battle you could download a replay file and view it with client or some replay viewer. Maybe even save the replay files for limited period of time which anyone could search and download. you could see how tournaments, clanmatches or your own battles were played from different tanks (enemies or allies) viewpoints.

As I understand the gun depresion is getting rolled back, but what about damage?
Because right now it's worst in all areas compared to long 105 and BL9... worst accuracy, penetration, damage, even the RPS are lower than german 105...
And i thought the visibility was reduced 460 -> 430... but in garage in tank specs it says 460? bug?
