: why can gun barrels pass thru houses and other tanks.
Its kinda not realistic.
Overlord: 1. Perhaps some time in future. Currenty not planning to change
this.
2. A lot of things are not realistic in the game. This is only one of them.

Overlord: Definitely not sooner.

If that's the case, how long after the E-Series, approximately?
Overlord: Most likely they all will come together.

3) Do you have any timeline for the changes coming to the Soviet heavy line (i.e. the KV-1/KV-2 split, moving the KV-3 to tier 7 etc)? Can you give any idea, for example what quarter or when compared to other changes, say the E-series, French tanks and US TDs (for example before the French, but after the E-series).
Overlord: See in development section of the web site. It should give you
basic understanding.

Overlord: According to 0.6.3.x data KV was/is earning 2-3% more expereince
than Pz IV, and slightly more than T1. Pz. IV, however has far
better win ratio, 49.5% vs 47.5%. T1 is somewhere in between
here.
Waiting for new figures of 6.4.
Waiting for new figures of 6.4.

the problem is you forbid to repeat the question, and Overlord won't return to it because it's like 10 pages ago.
and I will reformulate more exactly the question above, How can I get an answer for a question asked but not answered...
and a different question : any change in matchmaking system in 0.6.4 to prevent same tanks stacking?
Overlord: Only indirect measures - increase of match-making value for tier 9
mediums, it will have some impact.

Would/could and/or is it under consideration to provide a reset option for gold? Say x amount of gold to be able to reset 1 specific tank tree once.
Regards,
Overlord: No, we gave up this idea back in the days.

How is this implemented in the gamestats for armor strenght and penetration?
1) Is x mm of welded steel == x mm of cast steel?
or
2) Is x mm welded steel better than x mm of cast steel? And in case of this:
2.1) Which kind of steel is given in the game stats for armor strenght and penetration?
2.2) How is the factor which is used for a conversion from welded to cast steel?
Thanks in advance
Overlord: Cannot answer from "Game Development" perspective (though I believe
all armors are not equal), but generally cast steel offers ca. 90%
protection compared to same thickness rolled homogenous plate.
Depends, of course, on quality - early M4A1 production got so
Godawful cast quality it provided much, much less, that got changed
later as the production ramped up.
Still, apart from cast vs. RHA, there was also the problem of hardness - generally hard steel protected from projectiles of similar caliber to thickness, but when hit by a large projectile it tended to shatter (recorded for example in Yugo firing tests post-war, with US 90mm shattering T-34 hull armor at places), US preferred pretty soft armor that didn't protect that well, but OTOH didn't tend to crack and produced less spalling.

Overlord: On the basis of height, but in some cases it is set according to
the balance needs.

Overlord: Hasn't been determined yet.
