I know many stories that can freeze the blood.
It should be aim of humankind to prevent such things to ever happen again.
Unfortunately there exists certain popular theory that Wehrmacht has never committed any war crimes, was fully professional, elite and cool, whilst Soviet soldiers were medieval barbarians fighting en masse. You can easily find out who likes such a theory.
