welcome to our third interview with famous people of World of Tanks project. One dark winter evening I’ve thought: what if we’d ask Wargaming people some naughty questions about things we’d like to know, and so we did.
Today we present you with our stalwart financial support guy: TRANSFERO!
What is your opinion on existing game balance? If you could, what would you change personally?
Due to small number of players online I cannot speak about such global subject objectively. Small things make perfection but perfection is no small thing.
What is your opinion on SPGs? If you could, what would you change personally?
I’d remove casual-mode laser beam when sniping.
Do you like current Visibility mechanics?
We know about current problems especially on vehicles with huge horizontal aiming like Object 704 when you are able to look around the corner, but are not able to spot your enemy, while he is able to shoot at you without being spotted.
Amount of visibility checks will be fixed as well: now it is possible to spot the tank that shot you right after he already moved back to cover.
What is your opinion on current Russian server Clan Wars? If you could, what would you change personally?
I do not belong to the clan, so I cannot speak about that objectively once again.
I’d like Clan Wars map to have enough place for every clan that would like to test its strength. And also that we’d be able to analyze tendencies, ideas and possible problems/complications/disappointments of Clan Wars participants faster.
Which tank do you like the most? Which tank do you prefer?
I am TD player; I love Object 704, although I hate BL-10 tracking illness. I am afraid of top mediums and untimely bounces. I’d like for all nations tanks to be interesting and their peculiarities would be more specific (I look forward to 0.6.4. changes), so that players would be interested in trying them all.
Which map do you find most interesting? Difficult? Tactical? Which map do you like the least and why? What place would you like to see as a map ingame?
I like all maps, but I’d like to see more different maps. Every hunter has his/her own tactics, while map provides an opportunity.
What do you take into consideration when you create a new map?
I think we take into consideration what kind of tactics they can offer. I do not work on maps creation, but I would like to see differences on all possible levels. For example – climate, height differences, seasons of the year, terrain difficulty, urbanization level etc., I think there are many different things that we could do. We try to avoid making maps with only one or two possible tactics.
What game modes would you like to see ingame?
All known to the players: king of the hill, fighting bots, sieges, fight for the flag. Everything that could be taken from other games/genres and everything that could be designed for tanks theme.
What would you like to add to the project personally?
Cinematics/replays in the game itself, for example an ability to replay most exciting moments of the battle.
FEMALES QUESTIONS
How do you view females ingame?
Positively, because it is very pleasant to face worthy opponent of different gender, it makes me to focus much more.
Do you think WoT is able to draw females’ attention?
Yes, I think that girls can be interested in WoT too, because there are enough girls who like games and vehicles, and this game offers both.
Will we get female tankists ingame or only male tankists will remain?
We hope that this question will be solved in time.
What do you do to attract female players to the game?
Good question, I claim that Johnny Depp, George Clooney and Brad Pitt can be added to the crew and that they tend to strip during the „hot battle“.
Did it happen that you were defeated ingame by a girl? Do you consider yourself being a man still? How did you feel?
It is fully possible; I do not focus much on defeats. I feel good, because I’ve met worthy opponent, which I can praise after the battle or joke with about it.
What kind of girl do you like most – the one who spends her days at kitchen or the one who spends her days in WoT? Blond? Brunette? Black-hair? Redhead?
The one who understands me and which I can understand myself.
When will we officially get pink skins ingame?
They have probably appeared during the very first day of CBT, but they were not given to the players. We’ve changed our minds… 
Does anyone of your family play WoT? Do you want your family to play WoT?
My brother. I don’t mind if they all play, the important thing is not to overdo it; we do not need to have nolifers.
It’s very pleasant to see father playing together with his son or grandson playing together with his grandfather, that’s great. Sometimes people find it difficult to find common language in life, and the game may allow them to become closer.
Do you have pets? Do your pets cheer for you ingame?
Yes, fishes. If bad things happen, they scream out: “You are on fire!”
Well, joking aside, I do not have any pets beside the parrot that annoys me with endless “Rush-rush-rush!!!”
