I'm quitting World of Tanks, here's why

Finally at this point I get to the issues of balance in game versus tanks. Now listen, the reality of WW2 was that Germany had the better tanks. That's just a fact. Russia and the US were only able to compete because they manufactured ridiculous amounts of T34's and M4 Shermans (see: tens of thousands), where the Germans had less than 2,000 Tigers. Most of what we see in game isn't based on reality and for the purpose of making the game fun it cannot be.

LiannaSilverwind: As potential programmer you certainly realize and as Master of Computer Science myself I can assure you that engine changes are not so easy to implement, as well as increasing amount of visibility checks will put much higher strain on server. I hate visibility problems myself, but I do not view small patches being bad, because for me it's better to get some small good patches than waiting for a year for visibility fix.
About tank quality. What tank is more important for the country - the one that is able to fight at every possible condition, season and weather and is mass produced or the one that has really good tank cannon, nearly perfect optics, but has great cross-terrain problems, cannot pass over some bridges, eats limited fuel stocks of your country and costs so much that you are unable to make enough numbers to successfully fight against your enemy although you have most of Europe conquered and at your disposal together with their population, factories and metal?
WoT simulates small tank combat at numbers of 15 vs 15. If we'd play real WW2 simulator, we'd have one Tiger and two Panzer IVs at Malinovka base facing 30 or so T-34s rushing through the field. But developers already stated that WoT is not a simulator. Personally I look forward towards historical mode battles.
Thank you for your time of betatesting! Good luck in your future endeavours! :Smile_honoring:
