Why system allow people to set 'ready' with incorrect

The tournament name is "WGL Finals Fun Tournament 7/31", the
infographics clearly shows the amount of tier points. If the system
wouldn´t allow you (even though its showing in red If you go above
the number), what then? Would you have time to come to the forum
and ask/wait for the answer or do you think it would make you count
then? Or would you just ended with technical defeat because you
wouldn´t solve it on time? Guys, I understand your point but
please don´t blame the system for not reading at least the basics
about the tournament...
