Super toxicity and WG's culture of violence

Дата: 28.03.2018 19:57:48
Kandly: Cool topic actually :)   If I was given 1 cent every time I heard solutions on "solving" the toxicity in this game, I'd be chilling on a mountain of coins somewhere on a private island. :D It's true, toxicity is everywhere, it cannot be removed altogether. What we can do, though, is try to contain it as much as possible, just like you guys said, by looking at the feedback, seeing what makes you happy, what makes you tick, what causes frustration, etc. It still saddens me that - even though I come here every day (not on my weekend obviously) - still, every day I read a post saying "they don't listen", "they don't collect the feedback", "they lie", "they don't care", when in fact, we prepare our reports with a lot of care and take each and every post into consideration, because the forum is very important to us.   Now, my personal opinion: I don't think there's anything wrong with the current MM, as long as we're talking about random battles. The issue here is that the game more or less consists of that for now. If I'm new, I go in a battle and get completely owned, not understanding what happened, it would still be fine as long as playing this mode wouldn't be my only option and I'd get to unwind playing a different one. So, what I think is missing from the game is not only one PvE mode, but several, from Historical scenarios & PvE campaigns to co-op fun modes (that would help the players group up and communicate). I also think it would be nice to implement something that lasts for a longer time, to give people the opportunity to know each other and coordinate. The in-game chat toxicity is an issue of course, but I've yet to see a game in which it's not. Surely, it depends, but such stuff cannot be resolved instantly unfortunately, as it usually takes a bit of time to go through the reports. Maybe in the future we'll have a better system for that, who knows. :) I'm sure that the game will never stop changing (for the better)! I think that, working together, this is something we can achieve and enjoy.   We'll always be open to discussing your suggestions, because we know that standing united is key. :great:
