War Games testing – Gold distribution issue!

We are very sorry for the trouble caused to you due to the bug in War Games. We believe you deserve a proper explanation of what happened and how we decided to deal with the situation.
We didn’t plan to have War Games running last Sunday, as it caused similar issues with reward distribution on the RU server the week before. Unfortunately, because of a fault in the schedule, the War Games competition took place and all players who happened to participate in Skirmishes and Advances between 20:00 and 23:00 received incorrect rewards. Once we investigated the scale of the problem, it became clear that we needed to fix the issue by removing the incorrectly credited gold. For some players who still had it in their account it was just a matter of couple of hours, but in cases where players spent some or most of the gold on in-game goods, we had to revert these purchases before we could fix the gold balance on the accounts.
Because of technical limitations, some purchases made by players with the incorrectly awarded gold could not be reverted. In such cases, even if it meant that player managed to use more gold than they should have available, we decided to leave the obtained goods intact in order to not drag the situation out longer. To avoid further complications in the process, we decided to temporarily lock all affected accounts. As of now, all accounts are unlocked. Please accept our apologies for the situation. We have added 30 days of Premium Account to all affected players and we hope you will enjoy your time in World of Tanks.
