1. Why did you
run the War Games test if you knew it was bugged (after a test run
on the RU server)?
We wouldn’t have run War Games in its current state knowingly. We cancelled the test on April 2nd and didn’t intend to have any further tests before the bug was fixed. War Games on April 9th occurred due to technical issues. 2. Did players receive rewards for War Games after all?
Yes, the correct amount of gold rewards for War Games was taken into account when fixing the results of the bug. For some of affected players it mean they may find slightly more gold on their accounts than before. Individual gold rewards for April 9th were up to 900 gold per player and around 200 gold on average. 3. Why is there less gold/credits on my account than before War Games?
This is due to purchases you made in-game after War Games. We reverted purchases with in-game gold only if it was necessary to deduct the incorrectly credited gold from account gold balance. Also, due to technical limitations some purchases with in-game gold, like for example camouflages or converted Free XP, couldn’t be reverted and you get to keep them on your account. However, all purchases you made that were not reverted will be reflected in your account’s final gold and credit balance. 4. What about compensation for not being able to play?
Players who couldn’t access their accounts while we were fixing them have received one or two days of Premium Accounts to make up for the lost time (depending on how long the account was locked). 5. Why were some accounts unlocked sooner than others?
Because in some cases (around half of all accounts) we didn’t need to revert multiple in-game transactions. If all cases where we could simply fix the gold balance on the account by deducting the incorrectly credited gold, it was a matter of couple of hours. In more complicated cases, it took considerably more time, depending on what kind of in-game goods player bought in the meantime. That’s why we asked you to not spend any gold from War Games. 6. I didn’t know what kind of rewards to expect / I didn’t realize it was a bug / If I knew it was a bug and I don’t get to keep the rewards, I wouldn’t have spent it all
We understand that some of you may have not realized that something was wrong. Accounts have been temporarily blocked to facilitate the fix, not as a punishment. However, we still had to take back the rewards that were credited due to the bug, in order to keep it fair for all players.
