there's loads on YouTube. One of my favourites is the one
where they discover that Godfrey was a conscientious objector
(meaning he refused to fight because of his beliefs). They
start turning on him and branding him a coward and the old boy
never says a word in his own defence. Eventually, someone
discovers that he served as a stretcher bearer (like many other
'conshies') and was awarded a medal for going out under fire to
rescue wounded comrades.
IPaul72: I'm with you on this, what an epic series i'm laughing just
thinking about it

My
favourite is the one where they are all called to film something
and dress up in German's uniforms, then call at a pub on the way
back lol

attacking tanks with crowbars, hammers and such the Finns actually
attacked them with Logs in Winter War. The basic principle
is pretty simple: Put wooden log under the top part uo the track,
so it get's drawn in between front drive wheel and track, This
lifts the track off the drivewheel, immobilizing tank. I
understand the finnish troops were pretty succesful stopping soviet
tanks in that way. Once the tank was immobilized, it was just
matter of hitting the machine gun barrels bent so they couldn't
shoot, and blocking the gun barrel. If the guys inside did not
surrender there was always Molotov cocktails (or in a pinch,
lighting a fire under the tank and smoking them out.) It
seems funny, but early WWII a tank without infantry support would
be very vulnerable to such tactics
IPaul72: Tis true I learn't this when I was in Finland at Parola .... Simply
amazing another story of tanks verses tree .... The Tree won this
time
