IPaul72: Hello there RaptorAbt
Thanks for the post
This is exactly what we are aiming for to increase the confidence of our online community knowing that they can rely on the report and CS system.
However, we still have some way to go it will be a long hard road but in the end it will be worth it.
Thanks for the post

You finding a document and letting us know about it via forums = Great
Management not actively informing you, or the playerbase by any of the methods available = Poor
The bottom line here is, this issue has been brought up on the forums for as long as I can remember, you have done your best to provide us with information through your own initiative, management however have not pro-actively made a statement or policy available to the playerbase. Thats what management teams are for.
I trust you, but dont trust them. I'm not expecting to hear about specifics that detail exactly which methods are used to catch botters (if indeed any are actually employed) as that would be counter-productive.
Okay, so I was wrong about management instructing you to put out this thread/message, it's been done on your own initiative. I dont expect you or any other CC to have the type of access required to make a fully co-ordinated effort to deliver a policy or statement. Again, thats what management teams are for.
And here's my source of disappointment Paul, none of these departments actively communicate with the playerbase. Instead we get bits and pieces of information that are found by well intentioned CC's like yourself. I'm not expecting long drawn out conversations with tech or management department employees, I understand these people have jobs to do, however even some form of limited interaction with them (e.g. a blog, a periodic & moderated Q&A thread) would be far better than what we have at the moment - "i've passed the information onto the relevant department".
I've seen a developer in Minsk post on these forums (Gustav Fuchs), the developers hold regular Q&A's on the Russian forums, why do WG EU empolyees (outside of CC's) not actively interact with the playerbase on regional issues? Why the reluctance to communicate?
IPaul72: Hello again
I will answer your post in points again if you don't mind it helps me keep things on track

Quote Okay, so what we have here is pretty much proof that WG EU management made no attempt to actively keep the playerbase informed on this issue.

IPaul72: You are taking this a little out of context (no offence) if you
look through the topics, in most cases you will see there as been
various replies from community members regarding this topic. Also
there as been a presence shown and various feedback passed forward,
Hence the reason for the creation of this topic. However senior
management don't reply to such topics as this is what we are for,
the community teams
Thanks for the
compliment, but this was made as a decision by the whole team
including senior management so my apologies to everyone for saying
"I" when it should have been "we" I feel utterly ashamed that I
placed this out of context. This isn't about me at all, this is
about the whole WG team and most importantly you the community. So
again my apologies.

IPaul72: Departments and community: Well this is where it gets down to the
nitty gritty so to speak
As you mentioned the the RU forum you do find replies from development staff occasionally this is because the game is primarily Russian. However, within the EU forums we have a development section here where players have a chance to contact developers with questions and such which is held on a regular basis
There isn't any reluctance to
communicate on their part at all, in fact I would say quite the
opposite, that's why the developer section was set up and yes your
right sometimes Gustav makes a guest appearance here but not very
often.
Kind Regards
IPaul72
