All things done in moderation

2x RO ban for "made up on the spot" reasons.
Capitols (punished for using bigger fonts, only the first words of the sentences I posted had capitols)
Text collour (no where in the forum rules does it say you are not allowed to use RED text, and even using a different collour will get you a warning/temp ban)
Please visit Mr Kubrik's "Forum Rules" thread and check... you'll see I'm right.
Both these issues have been pointed out several times (I even asked to get those options removed, but not a damn was given)
And when WG wants to show me the forumrules (in the mail telling me I got a temp ban) the link in the mail doesn't work.... at all (also pointed this out atleast 4 times now... I use Thunderbird with default settings)
Contacting support to solve issues feels rather useless

IPaul72: Hello there Costarring
If you look at this :
4. FORUM ADMINISTRATION and MODERATION

4.4 Warnings
The warnings and official notifications are set off in red, this font color is reserved by Moderators and Administrators. Any other moderators and administrators’ message is considered to be an ordinary one and is equal to a message of any forum member. Once one of a posts has been moderated, users are not permitted to edit the moderators notes placed within the post. Similarly, the impersonation of the administration or moderating team in any way, is not permitted.
I missed it the first time too  :amazed:
I will have a word with the moderators manager and make sure he informs the moderators about the links not working.
Because if it isn't working for you then it may not be working for others also.
Thanks for informing I will make sure it gets sorted. However you may contact Mr_Kubrick directly if there is something that bugs you lots.
Just bare in mind he is sometimes very busy so it may take him some time to reply
However as a community team we will try help as much as we can.
Kind Regards

Thank you for your response and I note what you have stated.

I'm aware there were arguementative posts, but any arguement can get heated when the contributor feels their points are important. Some can express themselves better than others. So some licence by moderators is appropriate in certain circumstances, particularly as Miros's thread had provoked a lot of interest and debate.
*
I have see a lot worse conduct over the forum and I would point out the forum was not moderated at all over the weekend and there were some clearly infammatory threads that should have been closed.
*
Miros is one of the better contributors and while this issue is creating so much interest I'd ask moderators to cut him some slack.
*
Regards.

IPaul72: Hello there Sgt_Guffy
I apologise for the forums over the weekend however the moderators are catching up at the moment this weekend has been quite busy for us all.
If you feel you see anything thats bad though please feel free to report it to it can be brought to their attention much more quickly.
I agree Miros is a good contributor to the forums I like many value Miros views on things as we do with a lot of the community.
However the moderators just enforce the forum rules and can't be seen to discriminate between forum users I'm sure you appreciate the value of this, they have rules to follow like we all do.
However I have waffled on enough lets let the topic get back to it original theme  :great:
Kind Regards all
