Are bad players ruining your games?

Дата: 15.08.2013 18:51:34
IPaul72: Hello all
@ the OP Thank you for the topic it makes for a very interesting read.
I agree that there should be more teamwork in the game, at the moment in randoms this seems to be somewhat lacking with players each having their own objectives.
But when push comes to shove there will always be two sides to each coin!
Let me explain what i mean:
I'm not sure skill based matchmaking is the solution here has you will still find players with each their own objective for example ... most kills and win ratio's damage count ect ect.
I think this could potentially be caused by (some, not all as this topic proves) players reading the maps and not looking seeing the potential threat from each forwarding flank enemy flank.
It's like a game of football in a way, if you make a pass you will always have someone try run the whole field to score the goal!
But maybe there could be a more simple answer .. and that is to educate and not discriminate. (nieve view I know)  :hiding: But this isn't typed through rose tinted glasses!
I think further thought maybe required on this one, So maybe a poll topic of suggestions on what could make for better team involvement and for each individual player to stand up and be counted.
At the moment match making isn't totally random to put it really simply this is a simple way of looking of how the match maker works:
It is made by each vehicle entered into a cue with its operator and each vehicle has a battle weight.
The match maker then comparing each vehicle (battle weight) to each side, which is to equal to a gross total. In which additional factors taken into account in order for it to try to equalise the weights of each team. Which sometimes can cause unequal balancing of opposing teams in fire power, speed, ect as some vehicles have individual weights and match making catagories.
If you would like to see how match maker works, here is a brief walkthrough.
However this being said, this is still an attractive topic and a good read.
Thanks all
Kind Regards
