It is just fine to submit more than one design to the contest as long as each submission is a different design.
This is not meant to welcome a contestant to submit a ton of designs that are all the same design with only slight variations.
However, It is up to the artist to determine which version of their design is the right one to submit to the contest.
If an artist has multiple designs that are all unique, they are welcome to submit them all.
