The auto update question:
The log in method is now very similar to how the test server log in works, here in the EU.
As for the the link I provided, this I can't answer sorry as far as I know it is just the full client with relevant patches.
Maybe you would be better asking support if they can help?
As the technical side of things the community team hardly ever deal with, by this I mean, if we can help we will be more than happy to, but somethings are just a little out of our knowledge base.
