The comfortability of the SO-122 is minimal, IIRC
it has a whopping -2 degrees of depression. After WWII
Yugoslavia found itself possessing a lot of both US and Soviet
steel. They tried combining best of both worlds, as well as
producing their own vehicles. M-634 was a result of one such
attempt of infusing a T-34 engine, the V-2 into a Sherman tank.
Project resulted in Sherman with some more kick, but also having
severe issues with cooling down the engine. Code-name for
the project was "Violina" or Violin in English (You dont say).
There were quite a few hybrids between US and Soviet tanks
crafted by Yugoslavians. Personally my favourite is Vozilo B
(vehicle b) a T-34 variant with 90mm M3 gun Now...Who
can name this little guy :)
