New to the Supertest: 2 New Maps! Pacific & Palmanova

Now it looks somewhat like the Recon mode was abandoned , because a portion of the players complained that playing Recon affected their stats , i find this ridiculous situation .

HeatResistantBFG:  Recon Mode is in no way abandoned nor did most players complain about that, some did sure, and this was included in our feedback. Testing has many aspects and we would rather take our time to get the maps as good as they can be rather than rush them and cause more problems down the line. Will more maps come one day? I would imagine so. Can we give a timeline? Unfortunately not, no.

HeatResistantBFG:  Unfortunately, I do not have a timeline we can share, just that we will work to bring more maps to the game.

If anyone follows F1 you'll know there's one dude who has designed most of the modern racetracks. These on paper tick all the boxes for fast bits, low bits, etc but somehow the ingredients to make this organised 'fun' doesnt work.
I feel the same about many existing and proposed maps which don't have any variables to them. So the heavy tanks go here, the light spots here. It leads to repetitive and predictable gameplay where you know roughly where tanks will be sitting most of the time.

HeatResistantBFG:  I'd argue the maps you said don't really follow the descriptions you gave, realistically if you're playing those maps right certain tanks can go certain positions. Is there some diversity to those positions sure, but it's really impossible to say these new maps don't. If nothing else a position that's good for a 277/IS-7/5a etc (hull down heavies) would likely also be good for a 140/stb/etc (hull down mediums). So most positions have some level of diversity no matter what due to diversity in how tanks play. But this is exactly why recon mode and testing exists, to make sure there is enough and good enough diversity :)
