HeatResistantBFG: we need HE back again like before need only 1 arty per battle ( if have any arty) need 1 ebr per team on high tiers need ban ebr& cheftain and 279 platoon use rank battle match maker for random and nerf gold ammo and 80% of problem of game will be vanish under 24h any body know wg what thinking why thay cant keep somtin on game when that thing work well nobody force u o change that!!!!  I can assure you the game is anything but dead, there will always be something about any change that someone dislikes and the feedback and consideration of everyone were taken into account before making these changes but most players are happy about the changes and that's the simple truth. Does it mean everyone is happy with it? No, of course not but that doesn't make it that "only 2%" were listened to. Whether you like it or not we listen to the majority, no one here wants to become unemployed and so the intent will always be to keep players overall happy and enjoying the game. And if you are trying to say that super unicums complaining about being hit with HE are the loudest voice shouting about things then you either aren't looking anywhere or are lying to yourself, because as someone who spends hours and hours every week going through here, youtube, twitter, reddit, facebook, discord and more places to gather feedback and opinions on things I can tell you they aren't. I can also tell you that in each of those places 1 person will say it's the best change ever, another will tell you it's the worst, another will say "wait, what changes" and so on, people have different opinions and inside every thread/convo every stance seems to claim to be the voice of the playerbase. So I ask, which is more likely, that the change is overall liked by most and we looked at what all the players had to say, or that thousands of employees are willfully working together to hide the truth and end their own jobs?

We call that "making a tunnel". They basically exploited these companies.    Yet again the paralel with WG is, WG is trying to exploit or milk the playerbase as a source of income (they have been selling tons of pixels recently and they are getting more and more expensive), and as the playerbase has little to none influence on the game (development), WG and its "genius" ideas will one day shut down the game effectively killng the WG itself cause no other game is this popular from their portfolio. But some chairmans, managers and owners will split the capital of the company and will enjoy themselves on Cyprus. Or else, they will make a tunnel out of it.   More stuff is not a problem. Problem is the arrogant attitude and lack of care from WGs side when it comes to customer/client feedback/complaints when implementing it to the game (not mentioning the trolling towards community from developers side some time ago, SerB for example). They can sell many good premiums or skins or anything. When they ruin their own platform where to play them... it doesnt make sense anymore. And this is how you lose your client. Just saying.    So wallet closed.

HeatResistantBFG:  Sorta make the same point to you, do you really believe that everyone here is trying to end their own job? Or in your analogy trying to work only for a year or two before becoming unemployed. I would argue the players have the largest influence on the development, there have still been more sandboxes that never went anywhere than made it to live and as crew 2.0 showed if players overall dislike something we scrap it or go back to the drawing board. With HE players weren't happy with them being able to pen screens so easily so the coefficient was added. There has been plenty of examples in the past 6 months alone of WG listening to feedback, but without any backing people still like to throw the phrase around.  Don't really agree on your parallel either (sorta obviously I wouldn't lol), but WG is a company built from the ground up by a guy and his brother that is now over 20 years old and still growing and is nothing like the companies you are talking about. And in terms of the lack of care on feedback I already addressed it a little, but again to just make the point we have dedicated staff who spent a huge amount of time looking at feedback and passing it on to the relevant teams, and then action is often taken on that feedback. Feedback is essentially a brilliant way to "shine a light" on problems, players only have a small % of the info around a subject but can pinpoint where we should be looking or where something was missed. The info and data are then collected and changes are made to fix any issues found, this change isn't always exactly what some players want and sometimes it can take months to both gather the data, assign dev time, balance/correct things and then test and then live, at which point people have forgotten it was their feedback that led to this change.
