What qualifications did you need to be in such a position? and over how many platforms/communication channels do your tasks extend?
HeatResistantBFG: Platforms wise we cover pretty much everything. Instagram,
Facebook, Reddit, Discord, Twitter, Youtube, etc, If our players
are talking somewhere we want to be involved
Qualifications wise i think is a tricky thing, as there aren't really degrees in specifically community management yet. The simplest answer i can give is to check https://wargaming.com/en/careers/ and whenever a new CM spot comes up look at the "What are we looking for?" section and that will give you a rough idea what they want for that job. All in all it will be down to the people doing the hiring what the detailed answer is. I consider myself very lucky to get this job, i've been hanging around the edges of Wargaming for a fair number of years before getting here
My "journey" started as a player active on the forums during beta and launch of console, then a small youtuber for console, then a console CC for 6+ years during which i went to any event i could, and i worked for WG as "floor staff" at an event in my native UK. So not sure if that shows of anything special beyond 7+ years later and i still love the game and it's communities. For exactly what qualified me you'd have to ask my bosses
If you wanna know more/ask for advice feel free to DM me and i'll help where i can
