not cuz you're supposed to be social. It's annoying and I
can't say I'm not complaining, but trying to put my annoyance &
complaining aside, when you consider what opportunities it leaves
you as a solo it's extremely demotivating. One of my
primary objectives in this game was to get a VK72. That's
already almost impossible cuz of how limited the reward tanks are
in CW's, last campaign I put in maximum time in a good very
competent clan, played & won games every single night of the
campaign, didn't get close to a tank (while the socials in the top
clans only had to play a couple of games over the entire campaign
to get, yet another, reward tank). All these missions giving
socials more & more crew XP just makes me ever getting there
increasingly impossible. By next campaign, if I bothered, I'm going
to be competing against players with vastly more crew skills
than me, just cuz their social and have had all these
advantages through 2015. WG really are making it impossible for
less social people to be involved in this game. And it's not
like what they're doing is helping people to become more social in
game, since all this pressure started with PM's in Jan I've dropped
out of my Clan and gone backwards. They're not making the game more
social, they're making it socially harder. Edit - also, if
you think I'm in a massive minority for not being so social in this
multi-player game, look at this feedback poll WG did on the WOT's
NA forum. Not insignificant numbers of participants. An entire
third of those that took part are exclusively solo players who
refuse to toon, only one other third are non tooners who are open
to conversion. Are WG really intending to terminally
disadvantage and so ultimately lose that exclusively non
tooning third of their customers, cuz that's what their
current approach will achieve in the long run. http://forum.worldof...st__560#topmostGrimbru: While I feel your feedback is well made, I would politely
invite you to consider the fact that, overall, specials that
focus on team battles are very rare indeed. Clan wars again is a
completely different kettle of fish. It's end game content (and
it's also something that's evolving with every campaign). By
far the lions share of our development time and resources goes into
things that benefit solo players, and the majority of our specials
are aimed at solo players too. Yes we do want to encourage more
people to play socially, but we still respect the fact that players
also want to play solo. It's no secret to us that the vast majority
of players are fairly casual and like to just log in and play a few
battles after work. No-one is claiming otherwise. New tanks
and lines are for everyone. New models are for everyone. Missions
are intended for everyone (but I hear you on the platooning part -
fair enough). New maps are, for the most part, for everyone. In
fact the vast majority of what we do is for all our players, solo
included. To say we "terminally disadvantage" solo players is a
quite a stretch. With all due respect, I don't think
it's too much to ask that we do something for team players or
social players from time to time too.

understand WG want to highlight WGL finals even though hardly
anyone gives a crap about them, but would it have killed anyone to
at least include a smaller bonus for randoms like say 1.5x crew XP?Grimbru: Again, fair enough. As you say I think the special was
designed to co-inside with the WGL finals, hence the team aspect.
Fear not, randoms are still our main focus, and as said above, we
know the vast majority of our players expect the love to land on
randoms. This is just something a bit different and things will
return to normal.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback -
it does get reported! -Grim
