Twilight of the Gods is Coming!

Grimbru:     I'd like to address the feelings some of you have about Clan Wars in relation to the majority of the playerbase.   Clan Wars is effectively meant to be a kind of end game content. If you've already got yourself your tier 8 - 10 and you want to raise the challenge level, this is what Clan Wars is here for. Some players want to experience the game at the very highest levels on a regular basis, and we have a duty to provide them with that opportunity. Not every player is always going to be happy playing random matches all the time, particularly if they have made friends in the game, got to a high skill level, and dedicate large amounts of their free time to playing with and organising a group of dedicated players.   A word on the rewards. I can understand some of you feeling that the rewards should be better, I can understand some of you feeling they should be exclusively gold, and I can even just about understand the idea that it should be based upon activity rather than performance. However, here's my two cents. A Clan Wars even should have an attractive prize. It's essentially a competition at the highest level, so just because there are many players out there that won't be getting the prem tanks does not mean we don't care about them, or even that we don't ever give them rewards or opportunities. Lots of people play football, but If i'm in a Sunday League team I won't expect to have much of a shot at the Champions League Trophy. As for basing rewards upon activity, I feel like that does not cater to the players who play Clan Wars because they want to be or go up against the best of the best.   I would politely remind you guys that we have millions of players who all play at different levels and for different reasons. Some maybe just play to unwind after a hard days work, some just for laughs with their best friend, some who want to go hardcore and be the absolute best of the best. We can't make everyone happy with every event, but we do try to offer everyone something that they can participate in at whichever level they want to play at.   Having said all this, we do listen to your feedback guys, and it's all appreciated.
