new beginner - what country - tank line

Grimbru: I was told that the Russian line would be a nice forgiving line to start learning the game in.    Naturally I've moved down the British light/medium line for purely patriotic reasons and the French line (just to get my go-kart).    Some may call me masochistic, but I always find adversity is the greatest teacher.
