10th Anniversary Act V Postponed

Gepard_PH: To answer all of you who don't get how on earth Internet issues in Minsk can affect a global company with offices all over the world, and with all the tech we can make use of: the company is not made of servers, technology, code, network infrastructure etc. World of Tanks and Wargaming is made of and run by PEOPLE, many of whom live and work in our main development center - Minsk. No matter how many technological advances we make as a company, you can't (and arguably you shouldn't try to) replace people with tech. And you can't have a second team of hundreds of specialists just in case there is political unrest somewhere in the world; not only it would be a bad use of resources but also extremely hard considering that there are already not enough experienced specialists to hire on locations. This is all amplified by covid situation and our teams working mostly from their own homes. Yes maybe you can have some super-high-tech solutions in the office but right now we are working mostly from homes and our employees don't have satellite connections at home lol. We will do our best to deliver everything that was planned for anniversary month. Some events and activities are planned and implemented in advance and they will go live as planned, for example, our weekend specials, prem shop offers, or 10 days of Premium Account giveaway. Some other events and updates (like Act V of the anniversary and the price cut on Prem vehicles) require a game update and we need not only our devs, but also release managers, QA teams and dozens of other people to be able to work without risk of interruption.
