Ectar: You've completed the mission once already (otherwise you
couldn't have completed the 2nd mission). You can't just
repeat primary objectives over and over for easy credits. If you
try a mission again the only reason to do that is because you still
have to do the secondary objective You failed the
secondary objective (survive the battle) so the mission will still
show as incomplete. You don't get any notification to say you
failed a mission.
