Pitting Tier VIII Against Tier X Heavy Is kind dum

Ectar: If you're tier VIII in a tier X game, then your team also has tier X tanks.  You're not expected to be on the front line push in your tier VIII, you let your tier IX and tier X take that role and you support them.  Look for tracking shots to hold enemy tanks in position, flank when you can and leave space for your tier X or tier IX to retreat if they're brawling. You can even follow up with the mediums to help on the other flank depending on the map and so long as they haven't pushed far. Pretty much any tier XI or tier X can be reliably penetrated in the side or rear by a tier VIII.  If the enemy tier X is shooting you, then your tier X is being allowed to live longer.  It's a team battle and sometimes you just gotta take a hit or 2 for the team to progress.   If you're trying to play the tier VIII heavy as if you're a tier X heavy, that's not the MM which is creating the problem, that's you not appreciating the role of your tank in that battle. Sometimes you're the big fish (If you're in a battle with tier VI for example) sometimes you're the little fish (when you're in with tier X).  In each situation your tank is not going to be doing the same thing.
