opinion here. 1. WG has decided to remove the general
discussion section from the forum because they were tired about all
the whine and "feed-back" given by players. Especially the
whine... 2. Everything that was new with this game was discussed
there, including OP and UP tanks, premium shop offers,
mods, people made some analysis on some interesting stuff and
this was not in your company (as a staff, u represent them)
interest 3. Money is running low so the company is doing everything
to cut the losses, as new nations are added and marketing campaigns
are running there etc etc, and boost the income by every mean
possible (bundles; 10.0 update with pay 2 win scheme; if
you buy something from premium shop you can't change your mind
although it's legal in 14 days and so on) 4. Competition is
good for a free market but very bad for a company that is not
used to it, it's very important how company's react to
competition, WG started badly ...Ectar: 1 - The General Discussion section will still be filled
mainly with the same topics. It was simply renamed so that players
understand the focus of that section. Every forum has a main busy
section like this but it doesn't mean players should just ignore
the rest of the structure and post there all the time. It wasn't
removed intentionally, it was unavailable in error. 2 - Again, the
core topics will still be discussed there, but this forum, and that
section specific is related to World of Tanks. It's not a
section for players to talk about Syria, Armored Warfare, the cold
weather, what they had for breakfast, the American Presidental
race, which mouse they use etc etc. The majority of those topics
are clearly off-topic and some are against forum rules. - We
want players using our busiest forum section to be talking about
our game. That's the primary reason of these forums no matter how
you look at it. 3 - I don't really have a comeback for that. If you
feel that way nothing I can say will change your view point. 4 -
That's a debatable point, It all depends on what your
interests are I guess and how you look at things.

If you click to view a tanks stats in your garage it now
just takes you to the top of the board of tank stats.
It used to take you to the highlighted stats of the actual
tank that you had chosen to view. A minor change but one that
wastes time locating the actual stats you wish to view. Ectar: http://forum.worldof...12-bug-reports/
it's part of "Current Update" - This sections is also were
player suggestions should go. - When we're gathering data related
to a recent update this is the section where most information is
taken from along with the game discussion section.
